My Christmas Tradition-December, Eric Murphy

Christmas is fast approaching and everyone is excited. some are excited to visit family they haven't seen for a while, some just want to get out of school and others (especially seniors) feel this is an important time to start applying for colleges and scholarships.I, however have something else to look forward to. Every Christmas morning we wake up open a few of our presents and then we go to my grandmother's house. Here we enjoy the annual traditional Christmas breakfast. This tradition brings family together to celebrate the joys of giving (and a little bit of receiving), as well as telling each other what they got for Christmas, Christmas specials of cartoons and movies, as well as what they plan to do for the rest of the holidays. This  year is definitely special as this is the last Christmas I will spend with my family as  High School Student. Next Christmas I will have finished my first semester of college and will be able to discuss with my family all the details of what I have experienced in my first few months away from the security of my family and how I have adopted to the college life.
